André Leroux, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Leroux has held the positions of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Noveko International and its subsidiary Noveko Inc. since their inception. He has been a director of Noveko International since January 2004. Moreover, he is a member of the Compensation Committee. Founder of the group, Mr. Leroux also served as President of Noveko International from 2004 to March 2008 and as President of Noveko Inc. from 2002 to January 2008. Prior to founding Noveko, Mr. Leroux served as President of Alliance Medical Inc. from 1999 to 2002. Before that, he held various senior positions at Acier Leroux Inc., including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1996 to 1999. Mr. Leroux also serves on various boards including the board of the Fondation de l’UQAM and of the Fondation de l’Hôpital Pierre-Boucher. He is additionally involved with a number of other charitable organizations. Mr. Leroux holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
Alain Bolduc, President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Bolduc has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Noveko International since March 2007, as a Director since April 2006, and as President, Bolduc Leroux Inc. since December 1999. He also held the position of President of Noveko Inc. from November 2008 to December 2009. Before that, he served as President of Netscape Canada from 1997 to 2001. Previously, Mr. Bolduc has been instrumental in introducing several American software companies into the Canadian market, including Logic Works, Inc. and KnowledgeWare, Inc. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Ernst & Young Canada.
Éric Favreau, Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Favreau has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Noveko International since September 2008. He has more than 16 years experience in similar positions for various technology companies including Eloda Corporation, Positron Networks PNI Inc., VoiceAge Networks Inc. and Minacom Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Favreau worked as Vice President, Industrial Sector, at Desjardins Venture Capital Group. He also practiced as a lawyer in mergers and acquisitions, and securities and corporate finance with Montreal based law firm Lapointe Rosenstein LLP. Mr. Favreau holds a Bachelor in Law from the University of Montreal and an MBA in Finance from HEC Montreal. Mr. Favreau is also a member of the Quebec Bar.
Gary Chen, Vice-President, Business Development
Mr. Chen has served as Vice President, Business Development of Noveko International since August 2008. Before joining Noveko, he was President and founder of Unitam International Management Corporation Inc. Since Unitam’s inception in 1988, Mr. Chen has worked with clients in the construction, energy, life sciences and technology sectors to establish sales and distribution activities, joint-venture partnerships and OEM manufacturing operations throughout Asia.
Alain Falardeau, Vice-President, Legal Affairs
Mr. Falardeau has served as Vice President, Legal Affairs of Noveko International since July 2008. From 1984 to July 2008, he was senior counsel with Montreal-based law firm Marchand Melançon Forget LLP, where he specialized in securities, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Falardeau holds a Bachelor in Law from the University of Montreal. He is a member of the Quebec Bar, a member of the Canadian Bar Association and an associate member of the American Bar Association.
Valérie Leroux, Vice-President, Corporate Affairs and Secretary
Ms. Leroux has served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Noveko International since December 2006 and previously as Director, Corporate Affairs since March 2006. Prior to joining Noveko, Ms. Leroux practiced labour, employment and immigration law with Montreal-based Desjardins Ducharme LLP. Ms. Leroux is also specialized in intellectual property, commercial and corporate law. She holds a Bachelor in Law from the University of Montreal and is a member of the Quebec Bar, the Young Bar Association of Montreal and the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec.
Christiane Péloquin, Vice-President, Human Resources
Ms. Péloquin is Vice President, Human Resources of Noveko International. She has nearly 20 years experience working with management teams on a broad range of human resource projects. Before joining Noveko in March 2009, she worked as a consultant offering human resources services to a wide variety of companies in many industries. Previously, she worked as Human Resources Director for Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton from 2000 to 2006, and for the Desjardins Group from 1998 to 2000. From 1990 to 1998, she occupied various positions in a Human Resources capacity at Ste-Justine Hospital. She holds a Bachelor in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal. She is also a certified human resources professional and member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec.
Roxanne Rinfret, Vice-President, Financial Accounting
Ms. Rinfret has served as Vice President, Financial Accounting of Noveko International since August 2008 and previously as Director, Financial Reporting since September 2007. She has 12 years experience in financial reporting, accounting and internal financial controls. Before joining Noveko, she served as Director of Auditing at Harel Drouin - PKF S.E.N.C.R.L. from 2004 to 2007, and as Senior Auditor at Samson Bélair Deloitte & Touche from 2001 to 2004. Previously, she worked for the accounting firm Demers Beaulne Inc. Ms Rinfret holds a Bachelor of Administration from HEC Montreal and is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec and of the Ordre des CGA du Québec.
